Press Registration

We welcome media coverage of the IUFRO Congress. With over 2,500 scientists and land managers from all over the world,
this event will have a unique scope, encompassing local to international forestry science.

Who Qualifies as Media/Press?

Working media/press employed by bona fide news media outlets who regularly report scientific news related to natural
resources. These registrants must present:

Please note:

1) Scientists who will be presenting at the meeting and who are also reporting from the meeting for bona fide news media outlets may be issued news media credentials. However, everyone who presents at the meeting must also register for the meeting as a regular attendee and pay the appropriate fee as a presenter.

2) Public Information Officers may also qualify as press. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Who does NOT Qualify as Media/Press?

Representatives of publishing houses, the business side of news media, political action committees or similar, editors of
peer-reviewed journals, ad sales representatives, publishers, program officers or marketing professionals, and for-profit
